Tips to Control Cough

Most common and contagious disease prevailing amongst almost all class of people is cough. And today I have brought for you all some easy tips to control cough.

  • Inhale deep hot water steam with some Vicks or balm mixed inside. This would help the relax cough jam in your pharynx.
  • If you are a smoker then immediately stop smoking. Smoke would create annoyance in your throat.
  • Water is the best medicine. Drink lots of water which would help release your cough.
  • Just tilt your bed a little as this would make your swallowing and nasal passages easier.
  • Hot water bags placed on your throat and chest would help relieving clogging of cough.

Today I just would like to share with you the great news, it seems to me that our beloved actor and the “Dirty Dancing” star is on the track again (do you know/still remember that the world was shocked in March when it was reported that Patrick Swayze had pancreatic cancer?)

But in his recent interview Patrick says that he leads a normal and full life. What is more he responds to the treatment well.

Great Patrick, hope everything will be fine with you and you will lead long and happy life with your wife.

Job-Family-Sleep (Rest)

home working-2These days we all are so much engrossed in our work, that we do not have time even to think about ourselves. Day and night job related problems plague us. This leads to poor sleep. I too have become workaholic and can not sleep before 2 or 3 a.m. which is not good for health. This not only disturbs the sleeping pattern but increases the risk of diseases. Two of those diseases are frequent Acidity problems and headache.

Mostly people in night shifts jobs, or those who have conflicts with co workers or boss, or even those who nourish job insecurity do not sleep well. The result is physical fatigue all day round, distress, and psychological strain. All this ends up with the loss of interest in life.

Other reasons for poor sleep are work-family trouble. If you are doing job, you come home tired, you are expected to cook food for the family and baby seat your kids. You say no and there conflict begins. Moreover, if you have babies less than 3 years, you won’t be able to sleep properly.

The conclusion is we should talk over with the organizations where we are working to improve the working conditions. Whenever, query crops up, instead of making it lag for some time, just talk over it and finish it. Do not bring your work problems home. Try to find happiness. Share the burden of household chores with other family members. Sleep properly. I will tell you how to sleep well in my next write up. Till then stay tuned.
