The book is entitled “The Kind Diet” which discusses the importance of being a vegan. Here are some of the important diet tips that Alicia had shared with a health magazine.
Alicia believes that vegan diet is more sustainable than a non-vegan diet. She says that intake of meat and dairy keeps your body away from the necessary nutrients. She believes that plant based diet gives loads of nutrients to our body. She is also worried about people who have an addiction to meat. She says that the people who are protein fanatical believe that being a vegan keeps you deprived from getting proteins. But this is not the case. She is also a vegan since 11 years and but she has been getting necessary proteins from lentil soup, hummus and beans.
Talking about her book The Kind Diet she says that the book doesn’t ask you to panic thinking about how much calories or carbohydrates you should take. As the title suggest The Kind Diet is a book that makes you understand kindly and gently what your body really needs. A vegan diet helps a person being fit and fine because of the fiber content that they eat through fresh fruits and vegetables. A non-vegan person always has to be conscious about the fiber content.
