Kelly Ripa looks stunning even at the age of 37 years, thanks to her amazing dedication and passion for fitness. The super fit co-host of Live with Regis and Kelly has given her body a makeover recently and being the superstar of this month’s Mind, Body and Spirit, she shares her thoughts on how she discovered her passion for fitness and also on her diet which makes all of it possible.
Kelly’s diet mostly includes non calorie items like fish, fruits, nuts and yogurt which she takes in moderation, though she also does not miss the chance to splurge on some lasagna every now and then prepared by her in-law. Kelly also has the habit of carrying an apple or carrots stick in her purse so that she is not reaching out for any junk food if she feels a little hungry. Kelly admits that the secret to her 24” waist has a lot to do with her strict diet.
Talking to Fitness, Kelly made it clear that the notion that you can not start exercise once you are in your 30s or 40s should be put aside. There is no set age when you start exercise. She admitted being tired of just going out to parks and playing with children. So she started with walking on the treadmill and graduated to jogging and then running almost three to five miles on an average. She also attended toning classes. So, a little hard work and dedication is all what you need to get that slender and attractive look.
