South Beach Diet

The best part of the South beach Diet is its food. This diet permits you to eat healthy food containing exact calories. This diet would help you stay away from cardiac diseases, diabetes, control your cholesterol and most importantly help losing weight. There are three phases of the South Beach Diet.

Phase 1: This phase demands stern dieting. Shun food containing carbs. Have medium sized meals. This would help you losing up to 13 lbs.

Phase 2: During this phase the good carbs are again added to your diet. You still continue to loose weight till the aimed weight is attained.

Phase 3: This is the most important phase. Once you achieve the desired weight you need to maintain it. So plan a diet accordingly and in case you start gaining weight again then revisit phase one.

An additional piece of advise is that drink 8-10 glasses of water daily.
