Deadlift Exercise, an ideal and perfect exercise for your lower back which you will find pretty easy to be practiced. It also has one of the very effective movements. As there are quite a few exercises available for the lower back portion of our body, this one is widely suggested that proves to be fruitful for strengthening the spinal muscles of the lower back.

For the beginners the best tip that I can give is that they should try to take a lightweight dumbbell as they are not physically much strong to support its weight at the earlier stages. The use of a light dumbbell is much better than that of a barbell. Another most important thing for the beginners before going for this exercise is that you must keep your knees bent while trying to lift the dumbbells as in the early stages you will not be able to keep your knees stiff.

Certain mistakes that will most often take place and which you have to try to avoid repeating are movement of feet, keeping the bar away from your body, more pressure and bent on the upper back, practicing the exercise without checking yourself constantly in the mirror and taking up too many weights. Thus, you can see that if you keep the bar away from your body while practicing then that will not be the right posture. Also, frequent movement of your feet too is not wanted. Neither will you have to take up too many weights, as I have said you earlier, nor you will have to put more pressure on your upper back and most importantly, you must keep checking your movements by standing in front of a big mirror.

Your only focus should be on keeping your abs tight, keeping your feet a slight away from one another, pushing your butt towards back and lying your thighs parallel to the floor. Practice this exercise in a set of 3 with 8 to 10 repetitions everyday and get good results. But never forget to warm up your body daily before getting into it.
