Froggy Jumps: Home Cardio Exercise

There is an increasing amount of people having heart strokes day by day. And this is because of the lack of cardio exercise that people avoid in their busy schedules. So here’s one such cardio exercise that requires no complex exercising tools at home. The exercise is called Froggy Jumps and can be done at home.clip_image001 They help increasing your heart rate in a short span. This multi advantageous exercise not only helps in cardiac stamina but also provides strength to your lower body. The steps to perform froggy jumps are stated below. 

  • Sit in a frog like position or squat your legs to the extreme down as shown in the first figure.
  • Balance yourself by placing both the hands on the ground again as shown.

  • Now in a fierce way push your hands away from the floor helping your whole body to jump like a frog in the air including your legs.
  • In the air strike your heels placing the hands behind the head as shown in the second figure.
  • Now while landing your whole body, make sure that your knees are bent or else you’ll hurt your joints.
  • Now again return to the start position and repeat the above steps for 15-20 times.
