Have you heard it? The more red meat you eat the higher the opportunity to become blind. According to the latest studies, eating too much red meat raises the risk of going blind by half. May be it is a new rubbish from scientists, but knowledge is power and it is better to be aware of possible hidden dangers, don’t you think so?

Meat

Those who adore beef, lamb and pork nearly 50 per cent more likely to become blind in the course of time. There is a way out – to eat chicken that not only tastes nice, doesn’t provoke blindness but even protects against the condition – age-related macular degeneration. Approximately 5,600 men and women took part in the following research.

However, scientists still agree that the following results are not evident and strong and there is a lot to be studied.

Would you stop eating red meat?
