Dears, I think you have already heard about Lunapads. If no, I am going to tell you about them. I am just going to share with you general information because I have never used them. So, if you are a better expert please, share your thoughts with me.

Lunapads are washable menstrual pads. When I first read it, I was a bit shocked when I understood that they propose to take the used pad and wash it and use it again and carry it with me. What for? They claim that:

• menstruation should be treated as a gift that allows women to create life and we can’t take it that simple;
• if you are not throwing all those pads and tampons you are honoring the life;
• washing your own pads can help you to accept yourself as you are;
• these pads are extremely comfy;
• you can forget about buying tampons and pads every month;
• washing pads is not a big deal and doing this you save money;
• you can use Lunapads during any flow;
• if you change them in time – they will never leak;

• Lunapdas can last for many years;
• it is possible to wear Lunapads overnight;
• these pads can be washed in a washing machine;
• Lunapads can be stored in your pocket or purse;
• there is no way you will get Toxic Shock Syndrome.

I still have mixed feelings about these pads. All these pros are evident. But may be I am just not ready? What about you?
